Agreement
These terms apply to your use of Lyria, its website and its API, which are operated by Lyria. By creating an account or using an API token you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts and tokens
- Accounts are created by an administrator. Keep your password and API tokens secret. You are responsible for all activity under your account and tokens.
- Revoke a token straight away if you think it has leaked. Do not put tokens in public code or client-side apps where others can read them.
- Tokens may be limited to certain endpoints, IP addresses, request rates, daily quotas or expiry dates.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- go over your rate limits or quota, or try to get around them, for example by rotating tokens or IP addresses;
- scrape or copy large parts of the library to build a competing database or service;
- probe, overload or attack the service, or try to reach other users' data;
- use the service in breach of any law or anyone else's rights.
Content and copyright
Lyrics, translations, artwork and metadata may be protected by copyright held by their authors, publishers or labels. Access through the API is for personal use, or for showing the content alongside music the listener is entitled to play. You are responsible for any licences your own use requires. If you hold rights in content served here and want it corrected or removed, email us using the "Copyright" topic on the contact page.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Lyrics, translations, timings and metadata may contain mistakes. Features, limits and endpoints may change. We will try to give notice of changes that break existing integrations.
Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend or close accounts and revoke tokens that break these terms or put the service at risk. You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, Lyria is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, revenue or profit, arising from the use of the service or from being unable to use it.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
